,,In 2007 Will ‘Quantic’ Holland moved to Cali, Colombia’s third largest city, to pursue his passion for both unearthing lost treasures from Colombia’s musical past and making new music with the golden array of talent available today.Since he settled in Cali, Holland has set up an analogue studio and recorded and released two albums (2007’s highly lauded ‘Tropidelico’ by The Quantic Soul Orchestra; and the debut from his tropical-dub side project Quantic Presenta Flowering Inferno, in 2008) featuring some of the cream of Cali musicianship. Upon realising the potency and sheer depth of quality present in these players, Holland assembled his Combo Bárbaro (literally translating as ‘group of barbarians or people from outside Europe’) to take up the baton from The Quantic Soul Orchestra in the realisation of the next phase of his musical vision. A zenei zseni, Will Holland, azaz Quantic 2007-ben költözött Caliba, hogy egyrészt elfeledett, ismeretlen kolumbiai gyöngyszemek után kutasson, másrészt saját ötletein dolgozzon, zenét szerezzen és a kolumbiai város zenészeivel valami nagyot alkosson. Letelepedése után saját stúdiót hozott össze és az eltelt 2 évben 2 albumot is megjelentett, egyik a már jóideje meglévő zenekarával, a The Quantic Soul Orchestrával felvett lemez, míg másik a Flowering Inferno néven futó latin-dub projektje. Ez utóbbin a Calii zenei életének krémjével dolgozott együtt és ennek a közös (és rendkívül eredményes) munkának nem meglepő, folytatása is van. A Combo Barbaro névre keresztelt zenekar albuma, a Tradition in Transition júliusban érkezik a boltok polcaira és az eddig hallottak alapján az év albuma lesz, ez nem is lehet kérdés. Quantic a sok munka ellenére szakított rá egy kis időt hogy küldjön egy képeslapot a távoli Caliból. Ez lenne a videó. Ezen túl 26-án vendége volt Rob Luis műsorának ahol beszámolt a Combo Barbaro és annak új albumának részleteiről, valamint pár számot magával is hozott és bemutatta a közönségnek.

A rádióműsor ITT érhető el. Angoltudás nem hátrány az interjú megértéséhez, de a zene egyébként is fontosabb.
